- Eric Norenberg was appointed City Manager in October 2007. An Ohio-native, Eric has a Bachelor of Science in Political Science from Heidelberg College in Tiffin, Ohio and a Master of Public Policy from the Ford School of Public Policy at the University of Michigan. Eric was recently recognized by ICMA for his over 20 years of municipal government experience. He served in a variety of positions with the City of Mesa, Arizona, including Special Assistant to the City Manager, Acting Convention and Community Center Director, and IT Services Leader. Before that, he completed internships with the cities of Southfield, MI; Ann Arbor, MI, and Mesa, AZ. The Norenberg family includes Eric’s wife, Kaye, their children, Zach and Molly, and their dog, Checkers.
